Description
This color chaps is probably the second most popular color chap leather I use. This rich brown leather is as soft and comfortable as it looks. Both the rodeo cowboy, and the weekend rider appreciate the color- it is forgiving when dirty, and looks great with any color saddle and/or horse. It is 2.5 oz chap leather, and is surprisingly tough, in spite of it’s soft feel.
Chinks
(from the name “Chinkaderos”), is sometimes referred to as a half-chap, stops three or four inches below the knee and typically has four to six inches of fringe. It is cooler, and therefore desirable in warmer climates, or during the summer months. With fringes, and the looser fit, it is popular with the rodeo cowboys and adds to the spectacle of the cowboy on a bucking bronc!
