- I’ll give you a call. We’ll talk about your ideas, requirements, and added special touches.
- Pay a deposit* through PayPal or by check.
- I create your chaps (sending you photos along the way.) This should take 1-2 weeks.
- Final payment is made.
- You receive your custom-made leather chaps!

I thought it was a long shot, but if anyone could make a pannier for my little “Boo” it was Sidewinder Chaps. I talked to Nicholas and he custom designed some saddlebags with an easy-to-clean, comfortable liner for Boo. Plus I have an added pouch to put my lunch and water. Nicholas was a joy and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.
During a five day cattle drive, I experienced drastic weather changes. On the sweltering, dusty days they weren’t heavy or hot; protected me from the sage brush, and kept my Wranglers clean. Our number one selling item! Our Farrier Chinks (Farrier Apron) are made from 7-8 oz. pearl "Mule Hide", which is the traditional leather used for such a purpose. It is a tough, rugged- yet flexible- hide, and it is doubled on the knee/thigh where the most wear occurs. We have double stitched everywhere it counts, with heavy copper rivets at all the stress points; an extra heavy 10 oz. Latigo 1 1/2" belt with a heavy-duty roller buckle, and single leg chap-snap straps. These are built for the professional working farrier, cut extra long (28") and wide. There is a knife pocket on each leg, and we can add a magnet, ring, or pocket anywhere you so-desire (for an additional charge).
